The Australian APEC Study Centre at RMIT University promotes international cooperation and economic well-being in the Asia-Pacific region. We achieve this goal through executive training, thought leadership and policy advice to government and business leaders in Australia and other APEC economies. Executive Training Strengthening regional economic integration and prosperity across Asia and the Pacific is the Australian APEC Study Centre's driving purpose. We have an enviable record in designing and delivering tailored training programs and capacity building programs for government, business, not-for-profits and academic institutions. Thought Leadership The Australian APEC Study Centre provides a platform for senior business and political leaders to exchange ideas and visions for improved regional cooperation. We place a strong emphasis on initiating applied research and translating scholarly knowledge into practical resources that assist policy makers and regulators across Asia and the Pacific. Our research outputs inform debate and understanding in government, business and academia to promote sustainable economic growth and development throughout the region. Policy Advice & Support The Australian APEC Study Centre provides policy advice and support to government and business leaders in Australia and other APEC economies. The Australian APEC Study Centre directly supports the Australian members of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) – APEC’s platform for business to provide advice and input into the policy making process. The Australian APEC Study Centre provides support to the Australian Government on various APEC and non-APEC related matters.
