The Common Place

The Common Place is a non-profit organization that serves children and families in Southwest Philadelphia through educational programming and community partnerships. We actively work to address three unmet needs in Southwest Philadelphia: jobs, education, and healthy food choices (education and access). In addressing these three areas, we recognize that partnerships are at the heart of the work of The Common Place. Our partnerships and collaborations as mentioned above have allowed us to provide many programs, services, and events to the Southwest Philadelphia community such as an after-school enrichment program, virtual school access center, food pantry and distribution, community garden, youth missions program, and music instruction.
