The Gin Queen is the brainchild of Caroline Childerley. For Caroline, gin is more than a simple drink. Gin is part of her history… When Caroline and her husband were dating, her future mother-in-law would greet her with a large G&T (with the tonic invariably just shown the glass), ice and a slice of lime. They’d sit, sip and put the world to rights. The recent gin renaissance re-ignited Caroline’s passion to learn more about this delicious spirit and inspired her to create The Gin Queen. She has been named to the Australian Bartenders magazine’s Top 100 Most Influential list, was a speaker at Top Shelf Festival 2015 and is a regular presenter at Melbourne’s Laneway Learning events. She recently featured in ABC Landline's documentary 'Gin Sling' about the growing Australian Gin Industry. The Gin Queen also hosts exclusive, entertaining events for lovers of gin.
