We democratise access to academic knowledge and technologies via decentralised online tools.
The Good Scientists is a volunteer-based platform for scientists to engage with non-profits and civil society organisations. Our goal is to make science accessible and actionable for social and environmental impact. We do this by developing inclusive and decentralised online tools to match scientists with social impact projects. Our volunteers are based in Europe, USA and Mexico.
We want to improve knowledge and technology transfer towards societal stakeholders, by leveraging the untapped motivation of scientists to generate impact with their research. We believe that the desire for tangible impact is a strong motivation in the young generation of scientists to pursue a career research, but there is a lack of opportunities for doing so. This is why we want to improve access to social impact for researchers across fields and stages of education.
