The Karten Organization

The Karten family’s roots begin in NYC real estate with Isidore Karten’s purchase of 56 Walker St in the 1960's. At the time, the site of the family’s first textile storefront, previously rented from the building owner. Since then, the Karten Family has grown to develop and reposition over 500,000 SF of property over three generations. With our development partners we have actively invested in both development and acquisition projects spanning over 1.4M SF. We think over intergenerational time spans and aim for long term growth.
