Since 1997, Language Partners has been on a mission to provide high-quality language access services to individuals and organizations in Maine in an effort to demolish language barriers. Over the years, we have grown to become a leading provider of language interpretation and translation services in the region, serving a diverse customer base that includes local medical facilities, school districts, courts, government agencies, businesses, and social services. We understand that effective communication requires more than just language proficiency. It also requires cultural competence, sensitivity, and respect for diversity. That’s why we specialize in delivering culturally and linguistically competent services to our customers and clients. Our team of professional interpreters and translators is carefully selected and rigorously trained to ensure that they can provide the best language services in a variety of settings. To be able to offer more comprehensive language services—using state-of-the-art technology, increasing our onsite interpreting services, as well as our 24/7 on-demand video/phone remote interpretation—Language Partners decided to operate separately from Catholic Charities while mailing a strong and growing relationship with the organization.
