Occidental was formed in 2020 to serve as a vehicle for platform building investment focusing on emerging real estate asset classes with complex underlying operations in need of process optimization through technology and economies of scale. Occidental currently operates via two wholly owned companies:
1) Occidental Property Management- a property management company managing high end waterfront homes, and
2) Harbour Vista Holdings- a residential development vehicle building two custom waterfront homes in Long Island.
Occidental also maintains sponsor side position in two other "portfolio companies" co-founded by Ragnar-
1) Solara Capital / Stay Solara- a single family short term rental vehicle and
2) 555 Washington- a $55M office / retail / parking building in South Beach Miami acquired in JV with Greenmont Group.
