The Passenger aims to be a meeting ground of underground cultures and their frequent flirtations with mainstream consciousness. The Passenger is a cultural space and shopping experience, digital and sometimes IRL, where people go to purchase objects with which to define, re-define and adorn themselves while also being a place to expose and absorb new ideas in the form of artworks and books. The ethos of the The Passenger itself is most easily described as a curation of influences that have a foundation in underground & socially conscious punk, hip hop, and avant grade art, performance and music. We require books and small press to be a part of what we do because we consider reading essential nourishment for your brain. We value diversity and strive to represent multicultural and international artists, writers, and designers in a space that welcomes all people and backgrounds.
