About The PATCH Project

**This Page is no longer active** For updates on hoarding exhibit services, head to @STEPSPublicArt Named Best Social Enterprise by OCAD University, PATCH is a public arts consultancy that installs permanent and temporary art in underused spaces, like construction sites, through providing end-to-end services that help our clients attract attention to their properties, strengthen ties with the community, and beautify the streetscape. Our team of urban planners, architects, and professional artists, who bring over 10 years of combined experience managing public art projects and supporting urban development initiatives across North America, blends world-class expertise with a local focus. We provide a end-to-end solutions that meet the unique needs of any site; enabling our clients to strengthen community ties, beautify the streetscape and strengthen their brand without the administrative burden. The growing momentum across Toronto to require public art on new construction sites creates a need for specialized public arts management expertise that may be outside of developers’ core competencies. At the PATCH Project, we take care of the art, so our clients can focus on what they do best: building communities. We have had the opportunity of working with some of Canada’s largest public and private developers—such as Infrastructure Ontario, Tridel, Cresford, Menkes, and CAPREIT. PATCH is a social enterprise operated by STEPS Public Art, an award-winning public arts organization that provides capacity building programming for youth across some of Toronto's most under-served communities.
