We are dedicated to fostering a thriving and resilient community on the Rame Peninsula. As an independent Community Cooperative, owned, run, and cherished by its members, our mission is to support the holistic well-being and sustainable development of the Rame Peninsula and it’s community, nurturing its unique character, heritage and environment. - We offer ‘no-judgement’ access to Low-Cost / Free Food: The Trust's food larder and community kitchen project provides vital food for those in need. - Social and Affordable Housing: We offer five low-cost housing options, allowing young people and families to stay connected to the community. - Low-Cost Enterprise Space Rental: Affordable work units support local businesses and entrepreneurs, fostering economic growth. - Local Support Services: The Trust acts as a central hub, offering services like community Post Office, a library, welfare advice, signposting for additional help, and access to community events and drop-in activities. We saved the Old Ship, a much-loved but burnt-out historic pub in the heart of Cawsand and transformed it into a community venue and café.
