"the people idea" is a boutique consulting firm providing strategic and tactical HR support in the areas of total People Strategy, Talent Acquisition, HRIS/HCMS, Performance, Culture, Reward, and People Analytics. Founded by Daniel West, leveraging his experience leading international People organisations over the past 20 years across APAC, the US and worldwide. Daniel has led the People organisation for Apple in Japan and Australia as well as global teams from Cupertino, spent several years running global HR for the HK based, 85B$ global commodity trading and supply chain firm Noble Group, and led Uber's international HR from 800 staff to over 4,500 across >200 locations in 18 months. In particular we are focused on providing actionable People Analytics to create positive, high performance organisations. This includes the people vision and actions to generate the required data, the expertise to integrate that data and gain actionable analytics, all the way through to executing on the insights and driving positive, data-driven change.
