PROFIBUS and PROFINET International (PI) is the largest automation community in the world with over 1,400 member companies working closely together promoting PROFINET, PROFIBUS, IO-Link and omlox, the building blocks of Industry 4.0 and the Industrial Internet of Things. The PROFIBUS Group - PI UK is very active in promoting PROFIBUS, PROFINET and IO-Link education and training throughout the United Kingdom. Established in 1993, it services the needs of its members who include many manufacturers, suppliers, integrators, service providers and users of PROFIBUS and PROFINET. With our world-renowned Competence and Training Centres Control Specialists and Manchester Metropolitan University we run many events including Certified PROFIBUS and PROFINET Engineer and Installer courses, Commissioning & Maintenance courses and free-to-attend Process and Factory Automation seminars up and down the country.
