The Project Nomad is a social enterprise that provides opportunities
for leather artisans in rural parts of Asia, whose community are facing poverty, to empower themselves.
Through our NOMAD Restoration Project initiative, we also aim to identify the immediate needs of the artisans' village, both on infrastructural and social levels, and take an active approach in providing the best solution possible. Generally, about 50% of your purchase price are dedicated to tackle the issues at hand as we work closely with the community to progressively reach milestones that pave the way for a better future.
Currently, we are working with artisans in a village in Gunungkidul, Yogayakarta, Indonesia where the community is motivated to showcase their passion and exceptional craftsmanship to the world - as a means to break the cycle of poverty.
