SHARE: Society to Harmonise Aspirations for Responsible Engagement

North East India (NEI) has today transformed into a land of opportunities, driven by progressive policies, development of infrastructure, acceleration of economic development and sustained efforts to promote social harmony. A group of eminent personalities from North East India came together to create a platform for research based formulations on several verticals. Christened as Society to Harmonise Aspirations for Responsive Engagement (SHARE), the platform also aspires to promote India's Act East policy and also focus on positive multilateral engagements with stakeholders of South and Southeast Asian Nations. We strive to position SHARE as a transformatory response that tries to address and rethink strategy and interventions in these key areas of discourse. We have identified a set of focus areas where we believe necessary interventions can go a long way in building and scaling solutions that can potentially transform NEI into a key point of India's engagements with S & SE Asia. All interventions and initiatives taken by the organisation would broadly be focused on these areas, which would translate into sector specific verticals and are as follows: 1. Trade, Tourism & Connectivity: Bilateral & Multilateral engagements with S & SE Asia on issues of trade, connectivity, investment, etc. This shall also include other states of India 2. Geopolitics, Security & Technology: Hyper-local, contextualised solutions on issues of Geopolitics, Security & Emerging Tech 3. Culture & People-to-People Connectivity: Bringing communities across the region together to celebrate the spirit of inclusivity through various institutionalised exchange programs 4. Environmental Cooperation: Engage stakeholders and foster climate diplomacy and dialogue within the region
