The Sheltering Arms Foundation's mission is to invest in the lives of Minnesota's children and help them reach their full potential. We fund non-profit organizations and support policies that benefit children and their families who have the least access to resources.
Since 1883, Sheltering Arms has been embracing and caring for Minnesota children. What began as one Episcopal woman’s commitment to the well-being of children, has evolved into The Sheltering Arms Foundation, a grantmaking organization supporting high quality direct service programs for children ages 0-12 in the areas of early childhood and youth development as well as advocacy efforts that raise the level of public awareness and commitment to the well-being of children.
