Established in 1984, The Summit Foundation is a community public foundation dedicated to inspiring people and mobilizing resources to improve and enrich the lives of individuals in Summit County and neighboring communities.
Over the past 40 years, The Summit Foundation has provided nearly $53 million in grants, scholarships and community initiatives. We support over 200 nonprofit organizations operating programs in Summit, Lake, Park and Grand Counties. In addition, the Foundation supports local high school graduates pursuing post-secondary education in traditional and non-traditional pathways.
