The Tech Policy Exchange

The Tech Policy Exchange aims to support those aspiring policy professionals especially from South Asians countries in the UK who are looking to break into public policy roles, including tech policy in financial services. The group will provide networking opportunities, career guidance, and resources to help members navigate the job market and make connections in the busy and sometimes closed world of policy professionals in London. Our target audience is anyone and everyone. However, our own experience with South Asians in the UK who are interested in transitioning into tech policy roles, this will be slightly focused on those looking to launch their tech policy careers in London or find their niche. This includes recent graduates, mid-career professionals, and individuals from different streams. Key Activities: Networking Forum: We will organize regular networking events featuring fireside chats with industry leaders. These events will provide a platform for members to connect and share experiences. Career Guidance: We will offer workshops on how to write a CV, prepare for interviews, and navigate the job market in tech policy. Resource Sharing: Interested professionals/ students will have access to relevant publications, industry reports, and other resources to stay informed about the latest trends and opportunities in tech policy. Smaller Webinars: Following the fireside chats, we will filter subject matters and hold smaller webinars with experts within our network to answer specific questions and provide deeper insights.
