The Community Foundation of Will County

The Community Foundation of Will County was founded in 2006 as an Affiliate of The Chicago Community Trust, and serves the donors, professional advisors, non-profit organizations and residents of Will County, Illinois, matching those who care to causes that matter. The Community Foundation helps to ensure both excellent stewardship of donor funds and the wise investment of grants throughout Will County. We are presently home to twenty-eight donor-created funds and stories of generosity. These funds support a variety of needs in the areas of health and human services, education, the arts and more. With over $2 million in assets, and over $880,000 in grants awarded, we are advancing philanthropy and improving the quality of life for Will County residents. The Community Foundation makes giving comfortable, convenient and cost-effective. It also provides flexibility to donors by creating giving vehicles best suited to a donor's goals. The Community Foundation works to make philanthropy available to anyone who wishes to participate while helping Will County strengthen the causes and organizations they value and cherish.
