The AfriWomen Network

The Afriwomen Network℠ is on a mission to build vibrant and supportive communities via gatherings and relevant programming around wellness, intergenerational mentorship, storytelling, and entrepreneurship. AfriWomen will have access to Timely, Tangible, and Practical support. AfriWomen Activities are anchored in core values that enhance our efforts to foster sisterhood, solidarity, and belonging for Black and African women/girls in the diaspora and across the continent. These core values are inclusive of: Community: We create spaces of belonging where we feel seen, heard, loved & valued while leveraging our collective power and wisdom to catalyze change. Self-Care: We believe our “well-doing” is grounded in and inspired by our “well-being.” Creatively Innovate: We are intentional about investing in, harnessing and unleashing our creative potential as an innovation hub. Amplifying Voices: We must be authors of our stories, celebrating the contributions and unfiltered journeys of African and Black women/girls. Abundance Mindset: We choose to care, celebrate, complement, and support rather than compete, criticize or sabotage. Authenticity: We bring our whole/full selves with confidence and without attitude.
