The entire league of Gentlemen of the Alpha Club aim to: 1. Promote socio-cultural activities as steps towards achieving Unity, Peace, and understanding among all 2. Engage in Philanthropic activities as a contribution to the building of a more humane society 3. Promote, Support, and encourage strive towards academic excellence as steps towards building a greater nation. 4. Promote, support, and encourage sporting activities as an effective tool towards achieving peaceful co-existence and national unity 5. To help breed men of higher morales whose watchword shall be "DISCIPLINE" 6. To project the image of the University and to bring it closer mutually to the community 7. To make the Club a symbol of national unity, devotion, patroitism, and respect of fellow Nigerians irrespective of creed, class, or origin.
