Carousel Center is the region’s only nationally-accredited, nonprofit child advocacy center that provides child forensic medical exams, confidential professional trauma counseling, and caregiver support to children and their families who have experienced physical/sexual abuse in Brunswick, New Hanover and Pender counties. Carousel Child Advocacy Center serves an average of 500 children annually in the tri-county area, carrying out its mission to support healing, promote justice, and foster resilience in children victimized by physical or sexual abuse and to improve our community through education, prevention, and advocacy.
