The Church Studio is a working recording studio and tourist attraction.; the building was originally constructed in 1915. Converted to a recording studio in 1972 when musician, songwriter, and producer Leon Russell purchased it and made it a recording studio and home office to Shelter Records. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the studio is a 501(c)3 nonprofit.
