About The Human Impact
There are many programs, services, and shelters to help the homeless. But often a deeper need goes unaddressed: the need for relationship. People who are homeless have often lost their support system, which is what we believe to be the most fundamental cause of homelessness. That’s where we step in. Since we believe poverty stems most fundamentally from broken relationships, we believe the solution to poverty exists most fundamentally in new, healthy relationships. Healthy relationships are not perfect ones; they are just the kind that say, “I will be here, no matter what.” We, The Human Impact, exist to befriend the homeless, bridge the relational gap, and build long-term community to change lives!
