I Am...

“Tell me about yourself,” strikes fear in most of us. But with neurodiversity, it can be even harder. Full of contradictions, frustration and with a history of being wildly misunderstood, the neurodiverse often follows the words “I am…” with a stream of negative adjectives or declines to finish it at all. This is down to fear, shame, judgment and reproach all garnered from living in a World where our attributes are considered inconvenient, of little use or downright weird. The ‘I am..’ Campaign advocates to change that! The Neurodiverse DESERVE to be able to complete that sentence positively and proudly to an audience who sees their worth. We do this with a two-pronged approach. 1. Equipping and supporting neurodiverse individuals with knowledge and skills that will empower and embolden. 2. Call on and educate businesses to break the barriers and celebrate inclusion within their organisation to allow for all employees to flourish.
