Through its private and public marina, the IIBC can also be reached by high speed water transportation. (A future high speed rail and express highways to other parts of Lagos Mainland, Lagos Island and beyond is also in the works based on Lagos state's 2030 transport vision). IIBC is set to become the future hub of business & leisure in Africa and an exemplary model for the region. The no 1 dredging companies in the world (Dredging International Limited) is in charge of the reclamation of IIBC. The master plan is being designed by the world’s No 1 architectural and town planning firm (Gensler), and Mott Macdonald of England is in charge of Infrastructural design. In addition to redefining real estate excellence in Africa, we are also creating the future today with a 75 year flood free strategy designed by Royal Haskoning DHV of Holland.
