Middle America Impact Network (MAIN) has the mission of helping urban communities achieve financial self-sufficiency through entrepreneurship strategies. Our vision is to see a stronger urban middle class grow in the areas we service. We hope to achieve our goal by working with underserved and low-to-moderate income populations by providing workshops, trainings, certifications, mentorship, networking, and resources to them. Through our focus on entrepreneurship strategies, we hope to build up enterpreneurial skills that will assist people looking to start a business, lead to personal development for job seekers, and make an overall positive impact in the communities we operate in.
MAIN is committed to making positive impacts in economic, community, and workforce development. While we're well-versed in all business industries, we specialize in the digital retail (aka e-commerce) space. We believe that as digital technology continues to expand, the barrier of entry for entrepreneurs will lower, employment options for job seekers will increase, and new opportunities will appear for small business owners.
MAIN aims to provide an assortment of projects that also target specific demographics to improve the impact of our service. Groups we offer targeted programming for include: women, veterans, youth, "new Americans" (newly naturalized residents, immigrants, and resettled refugees), and formerly incarcerated individuals. We hope to grow our targeted programming over time to provide the best level of service to beneficiaries.
