The Training Ground creates workshops and immersive learning environments that allow students and entrepreneurs to acquire knowledge and practise their skills before stepping out onto their ‘pitch’
Our work covers three main areas:
1. Workshops
A really good workshop will inform, teach and inspire. Our workshops are structured around key learning outcomes that inform and then provide opportunities to practice the new skills they will need at university, and in the early stages of their careers or businesses.
I bring them to life with ideas, insights, and examples from my 30-year career in marketing and communications for some of the world’s leading brands and companies.
2. Mentoring
Having started 7 companies during my career, I am passionate about passing on knowledge, experiences and lessons to new start-up founders.
Whether it’s helping them win funding competitions, encouraging them to make their first sales, or even getting the company ready for investment, I am confident that I will be able to help the businesses in your start-up ecosystem get to the next level.
3. Simulations
Simulations are brilliant at giving students the opportunity to apply the knowledge they have learned and practice the skills they need, to succeed in top-flight careers.
