Thomson Wealth Management was established in 2013 by Keith Thomson and Sonya Peace who both draw their most recent experience from the Private Banking division of a major bank.
From April 2017 we were joined by Paul Moore as a Director and Christina McEwan as a Paraplanner. Both Paul and Christina arrived from a leading firm of Glasgow solicitors and significantly enhance our client proposition and technical capabilities.
We offer a holistic and independent wealth management service, encompassing all aspects of our clients’ financial circumstances. We are fee based advisers, effectively employed by our clients ensuring that their interests are put at the heart of the service.
Our extensive knowledge and experience has been accumulated from over 65 years combined employment in financial services companies, working for some of the largest corporate entities and also specialist boutique consultancies. This has provided us with a great understanding of what our clients’ needs are in terms of service and advice at all stages of life and enables us to truly put our clients’ best interests as the core of our company’s ethos.
As a smaller and younger company we are able to be more agile and efficient in the service that we provide and can offer bespoke solutions in a cost effective manner. Our clients are also reassured that we are not retiring anytime soon and will be around to look after their affairs for some time to come.
We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority www.fca.org.uk (previously the FSA) and adhere to the stringent requirements that are required of all UK Financial Services companies. This ensures our clients receive the full protection available to clients of all UK financial services companies including the Financial Services Compensation Scheme www.fscs.org.uk and the Financial Ombudsman Service www.fos.org.uk.
