ThriveNow's educational model is built upon four key pillars that form the foundation of its innovative approach: 1. Supportive community: Underpinned by relational practice, this pillar creates an inclusive environment that nurtures personal growth, empathy, and collaboration. 2. Enriching curriculum: The curriculum focuses on developing 21st-century skills such as emotional intelligence, digital literacy, and leadership, while also addressing core academic subjects. 3. Inquiry-based pedagogy: This pillar encourages students to take ownership of their learning through curiosity-driven exploration, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. 4. Multi-modal formative assessment: Moving beyond traditional exams, this approach uses diverse methods to evaluate students' progress and competencies, reflecting real-world skills and promoting continuous improvement. The heart of this initiative is our Beacon School, set to open in Kingston-upon-Thames in September 2026, which will serve as a model of inclusive, inquiry-led education. This school will focus on core GCSE subjects while emphasising transdisciplinary learning and hands-on experiences that foster essential life skills and executive functioning. Complementing the school is the Learning Hub, an open-source platform designed to share innovative educational resources, curricula, and assessment tools with educators worldwide. The Hub will connect teachers, researchers, and industry experts to collaboratively enhance educational practices. Together, these initiatives form a powerful movement that seeks to ensure equitable access to quality education, ensuring that every learner—regardless of background—has the opportunity to thrive.
