Tired Uncle Brewing Co.

Back in the ‘90s, before the turn of the millenium, a bunch of friends decided that they needed to meet at least twice a year in order to keep their friendship alive. They called themselves “Väsyneet Sedät” (The Tired Uncles). Having kept the tradition for decades, a few of them thought it was time to take the next step and, being tired of boring beers, decided to brew awesome beers that would be “on a par” with the “Väsyneet Sedät” group. And thus, the Tired Uncle Brewing Co. was born in honor of The Tired Uncles. The Brewery was founded in 2018 and started as gypsy brewing with the old equipment from Radbrew. In 2020 we moved to Keran Hallit and started brewing like crazy. We invested in new equipment in 2022 and bought bigger fermenters. It's much easier to control the production and especially make even quality beer with the new equipment. Now with the bigger production we have also had a chance to hire new staff. Luca Coelho continues as the Brewmaster and in February 2022 Jesper Bäckström started as a full time employee at the brewery. He does everything from brewing to canning. He was also the first person ever to be officially hired at Tired Uncle Brewing.
