Here's an overview of what you can expect from the club: Who We Are The Breda Toastmasters Club is a diverse group of individuals from various professional backgrounds and experiences, all united by the desire to improve their communication skills. We welcome members from all walks of life—whether you are a beginner in public speaking or a seasoned professional looking for a supportive environment to continue developing your skills. What We Do Each Toastmasters meeting is an opportunity for members to practice speaking in a friendly and constructive atmosphere. The meetings are structured around: Prepared Speeches: Members deliver speeches they’ve prepared in advance, following the guidelines of Toastmasters’ educational program. This helps build confidence in presenting well-organized, impactful messages. Table Topics: A fun and engaging part of every meeting where members practice impromptu speaking. Speakers are given a topic on the spot and have to speak for 1-2 minutes. It’s a great way to improve your ability to think and speak on your feet. Evaluations: Every speaker receives positive and constructive feedback from other members. Evaluations help you identify your strengths and areas for improvement, and they also teach you how to provide feedback in a positive and encouraging way. Leadership Opportunities: As a Toastmasters member, you can take on various leadership roles, both within the club and beyond, helping to organize meetings, guide new members, and take on responsibilities in the Toastmasters network.
