Toekies

Toekies is a social enterprise that empowers refugee children by providing quality certified sustainable clothing items inspired by their stories, ambitions and creations. We do this by organizing creative activities, where refugee children draw their future hopes and dreams for us. Hereafter, we develop prints inspired on these drawings for our t-shirts, made of 100% organic cotton. We sell these t-shirts and our profit will be reinvested in refugee children by providing basic educational needs and organizing activities that enhance their integration process in The Netherlands. Our enterprise is part of Enactus, an international community of student, academic and business leaders committed to using the power of social entrepreneurship to enable human progress. We, as engaged volunteering students, apply business concepts to develop community outreach projects that transform lives and shape a better, more sustainable world.
