UCSA Hermes

Having been formed in 2014 by the merging of ExtremeCo and sportsCO, the merger placed all sports at the University College under one organisation. Hermes is responsible for the management of the sports teams such as Football, Basketball, Hockey, Swimming, Tennis, etc. Counting 10 sports teams Hermes organises games against other University Colleges around the Netherlands at home and away. Ensuring the teams train on a weekly basis and their equipment is maintained and updated. The Games are also open to supporters and the management of which is another task of Hermes. Sports events are the secondary task of the Organisation. Encouraging participation in sports, exercising and highlighting the advantages of exercise are core to these events. The organisation has in 2022 commenced with the UCU sports merch in collaboration with the UCSA and UCU management team.
