As a social enterprise, we use a plural knowledge framework to promote, support and collaborate with indigenous institutions and communities to enable environmental and social justice.
We are a team of Indigenous and non-Indigenous scholars and practitioners from Latin America, Asia, and the Pacific. Between our members we have over five decades of experience working with issues related to territorial sovereignty, food security, climate adaptation, conservation, community economies, sustainable supply chains, accessible education, agrarian and forest-based livelihoods, and gender. We have collaborated with international institutions such as OECD, WWF, IPCC and the UN Foundation, as well as national and sub-national entities in Aotearoa New Zealand, Australia, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Indonesia, India, Bhutan, Nepal, Canada and the United States. Our professional skill set includes collaborative field data collection with Indigenous and rural communities, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, project appraisal, community risk/wellbeing audits, spatial dynamics mapping and design-based articulation, virtual and hybrid event management and accessible scientific knowledge through courses and communication.
