Founded in Turin during the post—war years by Tommaso Serra, father of Carlo, the current General Manager, Torneria Serra was established to provide tool and die equipment. Over time the company has gradually modified its core business by shifting towards manufacturing a large series of lathed and milled workpieces for the automotive, household appliance and industrial markets. In recent years, Torneria Serra has further specialized in manufacturing more sophisticated mechanical components.
Through the achievement of ISO 9001 certification first and later, of ISO TS 16949, the company was able to strengthen its position in the AUTOMOTIVE market, becoming a partner to car manufacturers and OEMs.
Torneria Serra currently delivers nearly 30 million workpieces per a year, thus consuming about 6,000 tons of raw materials.
