Torque-X Racing Team – MSEC
Torque-X, the official racing team of MSEC, was formed in 2024 with a 25-member crew from the Mechanical Engineering stream. The team began its journey with a focus on innovation, skill enhancement, and applying engineering knowledge in real-world challenges.
In its debut year at H-BAJA 2024, Torque-X made a strong mark by securing All India Rank 8 in Phase-1 and All India Rank 9 in Phase-2, along with the prestigious Innovation Award — a rare achievement for a first-year team.
In 2025, now a 42-member crew working on both H-BAJA and E-BAJA, the team continued its winning momentum. They secured All India Rank 9 in H-BAJA, All India Rank 42 in E-BAJA, and achieved 2nd place in Tamil Nadu for H-BAJA performance.
Today, Torque-X continues to push boundaries in design, fabrication, and performance, proudly representing MSEC on both national and state platforms.
