Tourism Product Enhancement Fund - TPEF

Established in 2010, the Tourism Product Enhancement Fund is a fund specifically designated for enhancing the tourism product in Aruba. The Tourism Product Enhancement Fund (TPEF) is financially supported through the collection of the Tourism Levy in Aruba. These funds are collected by the Tax Department (DIMP) and distributed by the Finance Department (DirFin). Mission: The Tourism Product Enhancement Fund's resources are dedicated specifically to projects aimed at the overall development and elevation of the Aruba tourism product. The TPEF's investment portfolio encompasses the following six categories: ■ Investment Post This category includes infrastructural destination development projects, primarily led by the Ministry of Tourism. ■ Heritage Post These projects are dedicated to preserving the authenticity of Aruban culture and identity. ■ Attraction Post Projects in this category primarily focus on the overall upkeep and maintenance of destination development investments. ■ Environment Post This category primarily funds projects that contribute to a more sustainable tourism development. ■Awareness Post Projects designated to raise awareness of social challenges that directly impact the quality of the Aruba tourism product. ■ Safety Post Projects in this category aim to enhance the overall safety of both locals and island visitors
