Think Positive Live Positive Support Initiative (TPLPI), is a youth-led, community-based advocacy and support group and a resource centre for the LGBTQI+ community in Nigeria, especially the young Gay Bisexual Transgender Queer persons living with HIV/AIDS (GBTQLHIV).
We exist because we aim to reduce barriers related to mobility, scheduling constraints, and stigma, providing psycho-social support, mental well-being, shelter, nutritional support, empowerment, and healthcare using various mechanisms (collaboration, referral, etc..).
TPLPI offers more than just support groups, but also provides around-the-clock community services, including places for people to 'drop in,' medication pick up/refill, information, publications,
telephone counselling, referrals, advocacy, massage, complementary therapies, mentorship, advice (e.g., legal, safe sex), and support groups.
OUR VISION: Envision a society where health, rights, and the well-being of persons living with HIV are upheld.
OUR MISSION: Creating an enabling environment for people living with HIV.
