CHEVS is a youth-led feminist collective advancing LGBTQI+ equality across West Africa.
We build agency and power with young LGBTQI+ Africans to shape their own futures and boldly confront inequalities. Through movement building, advocacy, and narrative change, we mobilise and strengthen LGBTQI+ communities for collective action toward achieving equality, freedom, and justice.
At the center of our work is our vision of a West Africa where everyone lives in safety, dignity and freedom, experiences true liberation and abundance.
We work collaboratively and intersectionally to build solidarity across youth movements in West Africa to realize the human rights and liberation of young persons in the region.

CHEVS est un collectif féministe dirigé par des jeunes qui fait progresser l'égalité LGBTQI+ en Afrique de l'Ouest. Nous développons l'action et le pouvoir des jeunes Africains LGBTQI+ afin de façonner leur propre avenir et d'affronter avec confiance les inégalités. Grâce à la création de mouvements, au plaidoyer et au changement narratif, nous mobilisons et renforçons les communautés LGBTQI+ pour une action collective visant à atteindre l'égalité, la liberté et la justice.
Au centre de notre travail se trouve notre vision d'un Afrique de l'Ouest où chacun vit dans la sécurité, la dignité et la liberté, et connaît une véritable libération et abondance.
