Our Mission and Work Ahead
TRACTION’s mission is to cultivate connection and visibility for trans+ and gender-diverse people through community empowerment projects. We aim to empower and uplift Two-Spirit, trans+, and nonbinary people by creating visibility and providing support through social engagement, outreach, and collaboration with other organizations helping underserved communities in the Pacific Northwest. TRACTION advocates for inclusive policies, amplifies diverse voices, and fosters community engagement and support for the well-being of trans+ individuals.
