Trainee Sør is a regional trainee program in southern Norway. The purpose is to strengthen the region's competitiveness nationally and internationally.
Trainee Sør recruits the most ambitious and competent master-candidates, and creates a unique start to their career. Businesses in southern Norway get access to highly qualified candidates who provide valuable knowledge and new ideas to their business.
The program gives the trainees professional and personal development throughout varied work experience and support from both the public and private industry.
Trainee Sør is a successful collaboration between public sector, private companies and academia. Trainee Sør was established in 2004 between Agder Energi, Sørlandets Kompetansefond, Kristiansand Municipality and the University of Agder.
Today Trainee Sør includes more than 50 leading businesses in Southern Norway.

After completing the program, 90% have been offered work in the region.
