TransformUs

TransformUs began with a research trial in 20 primary schools in Melbourne, Australia. More than 10 years later TransformUs continues to grow and is now available for secondary school students, students with additional needs and pre-service teachers studying at university. TransformUs is an evidence-based approach to teaching that involves incorporating purposeful movement seamlessly into everyday lessons. This whole-school teaching and learning initiative, empowers educators to use physical activity as a vehicle for teaching and learning. It can be flexibly integrated into any subject area as it is the delivery of the lesson that changes not the learning intentions, content or curriculum. It is designed for classroom teachers who are looking for new ways to engage their students and improve academic outcomes and wellbeing.
