Empowering parents and carers to understand the true nature and potential of their autistic children, and to transform their quality of life.
Our aim is to transform perceptions of, and mainstream approaches to, autism worldwide, so that the underlying nature and value of each autistic person is acknowledged and respected, and that meaningful steps are taken to dramatically improve their quality of life.
We do this through:
- Our written materials (including the book, Transforming Autism, and articles on the website)
- Public awareness campaigning and appearances (including a TED talk) about the importance of early diagnosis and intervention
- The establishment of a Transforming Autism Mifne clinic for the transformation of the lives of autistic toddlers and support for their carers (target date, 2020)
- The creation of a one-stop Hub to provide comprehensive information and guidance to carers
- Transitional support to adulthood (eventually), including employment and relationships
