Transition To Life started 2012 in one of the red zones of Panama City, as an initiative to support young girls living in orphanages to achieve harmonious transition to society.
Living in a bubble where everything is given with so many restrictions, rules and no space to make their own decisions and mistakes, these girls were facing lack of identity and resilience skills.
In order to stop raising institutionalized citizens, we took as our mission to support orphans and youth in high social risk, placed in orphanages or other substitute homes, by giving them tools for a successful transition to adult life and to society.
