We are the Transportation Engineering Division at the Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Madras—one of India’s premier institutions for engineering education and research. Our Division brings together a distinguished group of faculty, researchers, and students dedicated to advancing the science and practice of transportation systems.
Our core areas of expertise span Pavement Engineering, Traffic and Highway Engineering, and Transportation Planning, enabling a holistic approach to addressing the multifaceted challenges of mobility, infrastructure, and urbanization.
