Trauma Informed Consulting

Trauma Informed Consulting is a coproduced (clinical and lived experience), UK based organisation, who specialise in trauma and trauma informed approaches. We are particularly passionate about driving forward trauma informed change and have experience in supporting people to become more trauma informed in practice. Trauma Informed Consulting provides trauma informed training and consultancy to support people to get started with or embed trauma informed approaches, and trauma informed coaching. We can also provide other mental health related training, including Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England courses. We work with people from a variety of professional backgrounds and organisations, including people working in: • Public sector organisations; the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise Sector; private organisations; corporates • Healthcare, social care, probation, criminal justice system, emergency services, housing, employment, health and wellbeing • Clinical and non-clinical roles • Roles where they come into contact with (however briefly) people who use their service Experiencing trauma is more common than most people might think. Trauma can have an impact on outcomes across mental and physical health, education, and employment. We believe in trauma informed approaches because they can help people and organisations to recognise and respond to trauma, and therefore improve outcomes for people who have experienced trauma and the staff who support them.
