Traverse is automating the process of techno-commercial feasibility assessments of large and complex capital infrastructure projects using AI and automation. We start from fundamentals in civil/mechanical/electrical and geospatial engineering which then leads to full project finance commercial modelling.
Our workflow automation exhausts all possible permutations to find the best pool of projects in terms of risk, financial performance and environmental considerations. We have applied our platform to Wind and Hydropower and have worked on 10GW of projects globally (~$2B in constructed asset value).
Traverse is a multidisciplinary team made of private equity professionals, computer scientists and civil/mechanical/electrical engineers. We are funded by Silicon Valley investors including Y Combinator and Lowercarbon Capital (one of the first investors in Uber and Instagram).
