Trendwatch India was founded by Deepak Mohoni in 1996. Trendwatch is currently developing several powerful analytical tools to help investors make informed decisions. Past products include custom stock market analysis and workshops for media and companies, and production of stock market pages for newspapers. Trendwatch also provides a high-integrity historical prices database for the Indian stock market and conducts workshops on demand. Trendwatch also develops custom solutions involving financial markets and software. The company's founder Deepak Mohoni (B. Tech. IIT Kanpur, MBA - IIM Calcutta) is a well-known market analyst and software developer and has decades of experience in both. He popularised the use of technical analysis with his pioneering columns in the Economic Times and Business World. He coined the word "sensex" in 1989. He has appeared on almost all the Indian business TV channels including ET Now, CNBC TV18, BTVi, BBC, NDTV Profit, Zee Business, Aaj Tak, Star TV and Doordarshan. His views on the market have been sought by several business newspapers and magazines. He wrote a weekly column in the "Investor Guide" section of the Economic Times.
