Tri-Star Health Partners

Since founding Tri-Star in 2009, the partners have invested in and helped create 23 companies in the healthcare sector. Prior to establishing Tri-Star, the team has been founding and investing in healthcare innovation for the last several decades. More recently, the Tri-Star principals helped create and invest in 27 companies based on Vanderbilt University intellectual property. The financial returns from these investments were significant, having exceeded the average venture returns over that period by a sizable margin. The experience of creating companies, negotiating licensing and operating agreements within the university environment uniquely and ideally suits the Tri-Star team to execute its strategy going forward. Tri-Star recently announced a partnership with The Innovation Institute to create a unique healthcare innovation investment company.
