True North Structural Engineers is a full service structural engineering firm based in Steamboat Springs, CO. We specialize in new custom homes, remodels, renovations, and structural inspections.
True North was founded in 2025 by Jacob Conners, an experienced engineer with almost 15 years of experience in Civil Engineering, Transportation, Land Management, Bridge Inspection & Design, and Structural Engineering. Jacob holds a BS in Civil Engineering Technology and Certificate in Structural Design from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and a MS in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering and Structural Mechanics.
We pride ourselves on doing the job right the first time, empowering our clients, and close communication. Our experience in the theoretical side and the practical side of engineering and building allow us to produce extremely high quality designs, plans, and specifications, tailored specifically to your project.
